Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the services of The Dogfather Corp(“The Dogfather”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By booking a session, signing a training agreement, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website at https://dogfather.ca or engaging our training services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal authority to enter a binding agreement, and accept these Terms in full.
These Terms, together with any signed training agreement and our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and The Dogfather Corp regarding our services.
2. Services
The Dogfather offers professional dog training programs including but not limited to: Obedience Training, Aggression Prevention, Protection Training, Board & Train, and Boarding. Service descriptions, pricing, and availability are subject to change without notice.
We reserve the right to refuse service to any dog or owner we determine, in our sole professional judgment, to pose a safety risk or to be unsuitable for a particular program.
Training results depend substantially on consistent owner follow-through between sessions. We cannot guarantee specific outcomes where our recommended protocols are not followed.
3. Payment
Prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and are subject to applicable taxes. We accept Interac e-Transfer, credit card (via Stripe), and cash. Payment plans, where offered, are outlined in your individual training agreement.
If a payment is disputed or reversed by your financial institution without our consent, we reserve the right to pursue recovery of outstanding amounts through legal means permitted under Ontario law.
4. Cancellation Policy
We understand that schedules change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
Full cancellation or rescheduling at no charge. Sessions can be rescheduled to a mutually agreeable date within the program period.
Rescheduling is permitted once at no charge. Subsequent cancellations within this window result in forfeiture of that session.
The session is forfeited. No rescheduling or credit is offered. No exceptions.
The session is forfeited and no rescheduling is offered. Repeat no-shows may result in program termination without refund.
We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate genuine emergencies. Contact us as early as possible at (647) 551-2633.
5. Owner Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Ensure your dog is current on all required vaccinations (DHPP and Rabies) and provide proof before any program begins
- Disclose all known behavioral history, including any bites, attacks, or prior incidents
- Supervise your dog during sessions and follow all safety instructions from our trainers
- Acknowledge that working with behaviorally complex dogs carries inherent risk
- Sign our training agreement before the first session begins
- Reinforce training protocols at home between sessions
6. Limitation of Liability
Dog training involves inherent physical risk. By enrolling in any program, you accept that The Dogfather cannot be held liable for incidents that occur during or after sessions that result from the dog's unpredictable behavior. Our trainers exercise reasonable professional care in all sessions.
Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the specific program at issue.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and program materials — is the exclusive property of The Dogfather Corp and is protected by Canadian copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
